At our August meeting, as part of the Reading Action Program sponsored by Lions International, a committee of three Lions: King Lion Julie Thomas, 1st Vice President Ann Bucher, and Immediate District First Lady Luana Beeson presented a package of school supplies, including notebooks, backpacks, pencils, and reading materials, to representatives from Sherwood Elementary School.
