September 18-21 – White Cane Vision Days – Cloverly and Olney Safeway – If you are looking for an opportunity to support your local community as well as help blind and diabetic people around the world, look no further than your local grocery stores.  Lions will be out front of Safeway collecting donations (and eyeglasses, if you have any.)  Please stop by and say hello!  Thank you very much to Safeway for letting us use their space.

Monday, September 25 – Raffle Drawing and Regular Meeting – We will be having our Travel Raffle drawing at our regular meeting at Salem United Methodist Church on Monday the 25th.  All tickets must be purchased before September 11, so please do so!  As always, guests are welcome at our regular meeting, especially those who are interested in finding out more about what Lionism is all about.  Contact us at the e-mail or number listed on the site to let us know you’re interested in coming!

September 26-29 – White Cane Vision Days – Olney Giant and Olney Shoppers – We’ll be back at it again two weeks later at other local groceries.  Please come out and support us by “Helping the Lions Help the Blind.”  Collections go towards local scholarships, The Wilmer Eye Institute, and other blindness prevention programs locally and internationally.
