The Sandy Spring Lions Club is once again selling Christmas trees and handmade wreaths beginning November 27 at the old Montgomery General Hospital grounds, located at Olney Sandy Spring Road and Prince Philip Drive.

The tree lot will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 7p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  The sale continues until all the trees are sold.  Several sizes of fresh-cut Fraser fir trees will be available.  Due to an area wide tree shortage, supplies are limited so be sure to shop early.  

Proceeds benefit the Club, which gives back 100 percent of the proceeds to charitable projects, mostly in the local community.

When entering the lot be advised that Covid-19 safety protocols will be in effect so please wear a mask and observe social distancing.  Also, the number of people entering the lot at any one time may also need to be limited.  

Cash, credit cards and checks will be accepted.
