On Saturday September 10th, the Sandy Spring Lions are co-hosting a lightbulb exchange event with free lightbulbs provided by Montgomery County. The location is New Hope Presbyterian Church at 17930 Bowie Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855. Please come and join us to exchange your bulbs and enjoy each other’s company.

This event offers MoCo residents the opportunity to dispose of all incandescent (trash) and CFL bulbs (proper disposal-Mercury) held by the resident.  In return, each person will be provided an exchange of up to three (3) A-19 Warm (w/some daylight) 60 Watt equivalent LED bulbs.
