The Sandy Spring Lions Club is once again selling Christmas trees and handmade Frasier Fir wreaths beginning FRIDAY, November 25th at the old Montgomery General Hospital grounds, located at Olney Sandy Spring Road and Prince Phillip Drive.
The tree lot will be open from 4 – 7 PM on Thursdays/Fridays and 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturdays/Sundays and will continue until all the trees are sold. This is our major annual fundraiser and proceeds benefit our Lions Club programs which returns 100% of the proceeds to charitable projects, mostly in the local community. Cash, checks AND CREDIT CARDS will be accepted and Lion’s collection buckets available for donations. Sizes available include: 3′ Tabletop, 5’ – 6’, 6’ – 7’, 7’ – 8’, 9’ and 10’
The Sandy Spring Lions Club has been serving the community for more than 75 years. While selling our trees and wreaths, we collect eyeglasses and hearing aids in support of the Lions Recycle For Sight & Hearing Program & have donation buckets available to support our Foundation. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors in the area to visit us & buy a great Fraser Fir Tree/Wreath before we sell out!
Our wreath construction elves create with our own trimmings & donated tree boughs to create/decorate a targeted 75 wreaths this year. Due to the Elf-donated materials, all wreath sales are 100% profit to our club. Our Lions, LEOs, friends, & wonderful Elves all volunteer their precious hours best exhibiting the Lions motto: WE SERVE!!
